You can do this later if you find that accuracy needs a boost (which we didn't). Setup is extremely quick because there's no longer any need to read screeds of training text - something we've gone through many times in the past. Correcting any errors is relatively straightforward too, so that accuracy should improve further over time. As a fresh install on a new computer (that is, without access to existing voice files) DPI proved almost completely accurate. Still, it is worth noting that, with the absolute minimum of training, dictation accuracy is superb. What matters now is coming up with an application that's easy to use, packed with features, and works across a full range of desktop computing requirements. Nuance has given up its claims to be increasingly accurate with the new DPI, largely because it has already claimed near-100-percent accuracy with previous products, leaving itself very little room to claim further improvements. When this happens, use Wireshark in a separate terminal window to test whether or not a successful handshake has been captured. Typically, the device will attempt to re-authenticate automatically using the last known PSK, which will get captured in the wpa2 file. Rather than waiting for a new device to connect, use aireplay-ng -0 1 -a -c wlan0mon to force a de-authentication. Use airodump-ng -c 1 –bssid -w wpa2 wlan0mon to capture traffic to the access point and write the results to a file. The goal here is to capture a good handshake. If this 4-way handshake is successful, then the device will authenticate and connect to the access point. During this process, there are 2 pairs of key exchanges that take place between the access point and the device. The communication that happens when a wireless device authenticates to a WPA-enabled access point is called a 4-way handshake.

Aimed at preschool viewers (ages three to five), the goal of the series is to inspire children to explore science, engineering, and math in the world around them. For those not familiar with the show, it is an animated series based on the popular books by Margret and H.A. I’m not kidding when I say that my 2 and 5 year olds are obsessed with George, and those who have been to our house can attest to his obsession. Since we have been long-time fans of Curious George, the kids were so excited to spend an evening celebrating their favorite monkey and show. Best part? It didn’t take long to put together and included some fun activities along with some cute, delicious treats to go with it! Here are some more details of our little shindig… To celebrate, we decided to throw a Curious George party and the kids LOVED it. They have 108 episodes of the animated TV series, as well as the animated film Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey. Who here loves Curious George?! We do! My kids have always loved the mischievous monkey, so we were ecstatic to find out that all 9 seasons of Curious George are now streaming only on Hulu. They work for Nick Haddow, who purchased the property a year earlier to better control the quality of the milk going into his Bruny Island Cheese Company products. The deal shows Microsoft can generate meaningful revenue from a futuristic product resulting from years of research, beyond core areas such as operating systems and productivity software. Possible issues with the Direct3D pipeline include rendering artifacts, crashes, and performance related problems.Īn additional pipeline, the OpenGL pipeline, might offer greater performance in some configurations. Starting with the Java SE 6 release, when the application enters full-screen mode, the new Direct3D pipeline can be used, if the drivers satisfy the requirements. DirectDraw and GDI APIs are used for rendering to accelerated offscreen and onscreen surfaces. The default pipeline on the Windows platform is a mixture of the DirectDraw pipeline and the GDI pipeline, where some operations are performed with the DirectDraw pipeline and others with the GDI pipeline. System Manufacturer/Model Number: Dell Inc.11.2 Windows OS - DirectDraw/GDI Pipeline If you want any DX logs or any other information, just comment below. Now this problem either could be because of Windows 8 or drivers. As a side note, a year ago I had Windows 7 32bit installed having latest Intel's drivers and with Direct3D enabled without an issue. WDDM drivers are nice but wouldn't it be great if you could have OpenGL v1.4 along with Direct3D enabled? So I could run things like Minecraft. And I think I am currently running out of options here. Now from what is stated above, it is clear that this issue caused by Intel's driver but it may also be a Windows problem too. The driver works well for the 64bit apps. □ĥ- Note that this problem persist only in 32bit Direct3D using applications NOT 64bit. There is no "SoftwareOnly" registry key that I could change from 0 to 1. Also installed DirectX 9.0c (June 2010) all to no avail.Ĥ- As referred by many people, I have checked this link: (look at the answer) It now says that newer or equivalent version is already installed. (Also tried the second latest version just in case).ģ- Updated the DirectX through web setup. □Ģ- As stated above, I have updated the video drivers to 'Intel's' latest version. So yeah, no moving the slider to right side to give 'Full' Direct3D/Hardware acceleration. The 64bit version said "Enabled" for all three DirectDraw, Direct3D and AGP Texture acceleration.īut when I opened the 32bit one, first it said: "Error: Problem getting extra display info."Īnd then on the display tab, Direct3D acceleration was disabled.įor screenshot reference, see this link: Solutions triedġ- As seen from some tutorials around the web, I went to Advanced Display settings but no troubleshoot tab was found. Also all the desktop games I have e.g Warcraft showed some Direct3D or DirectX related error. Some Windows Store games and apps were exiting as soon as opened them. I re-installed Minecraft and it worked like a charm! □ Also checked another OpenGL animation software Blender and it was also working. Checked GPU Cap Viewer again, and voila! OpenGL version 1.4 was displayed. Upon thinking that at least Windows 7 drivers would work on Windows 8 if not XP's or Vista's, I downloaded the Windows 7 圆4 drivers. So I looked at the Download Center, but the latest drivers for my GPU were for Windows 7 32 and 64bit not Windows 8. And also on Minecraft forums someone said that Intel's drivers were needed for older GPU's in order for Minecraft to work. However on Intel's official site, it said my GPU CAN support OpenGL v1.4. I further researched and found that the Microsoft's WDDM v1.0 drivers supported maximum OpenGL v1.1 (well, at least for my GPU). I downloaded and launched GPU Caps Viewer and found out OpenGL v1.1 on my system, whereas Minecraft needed 1.4 or more to run. I researched on that and found out that it was an OpenGL issue. As I launched it, an error popped up saying 'pixel format not accelerated'. Everything was working, well, almost everything. Previously, Microsoft WDDM v1.0 drivers were installed (from Windows Update) and the system had no problems. I need to enable this so that most games and Direct3D using Windows Store apps start working again. The Direct3D acceleration for 32bit Windows applications is disabled. So I'm posting this here, hoping my problem gets solved □ Problem Some suggest updating video drivers, some say editing specific registry keys that don't exit in Windows 7/8, while others don't reply. Now I know that this issue has been discussed much around the web but most of the solutions focus Windows XP and/or are outdated. Now, I opened this piece saying that New Vegas is the outlier of the modern Fallouts. But we’re not here to talk about that today. This launched the series into the mainstream, but since Bethesda was too busy on Skyrim to capitalize on the success, it handed the reigns over to Obsidian, giving us Fallout: New Vegas. As part of the closure, the IPs were sold off, and as we all know, Bethesda scooped up the post-apocalyptic series, releasing its own Fallout 3 in 2008. Following some serious financial troubles at Black Isle Studios, they shut down in 2003, right in the middle of the development of Van Buren-the codename for the original Fallout 3. Going back in time briefly, the first two games in the series were released in 1997 and ‘98 respectively. This is important because Obsidian is a company mainly comprised of developers from the first two Fallouts in the late 1990s, when they worked at Black Isle Studios. Noticeably different from the other modern Fallouts, it was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, rather than Bethesda. But also, now that Microsoft has acquired Bethesda, let’s look at what Obsidian could do with another Fallout-and why that shouldn’t just be New Vegas 2.įallout: New Vegas was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2010. So why did I just open this anniversary piece with all that gushing, and what does this have to do with a much wanted Fallout: New Vegas 2? Well, what I’m trying to say is that 2010’s New Vegas has already explored every inch of life in the Mojave Desert, so for its 10th birthday, let’s dive into how it did this so well. The people of Goodsprings are still of no concern to them. And true to form, if you find yourself helping out the NCR near Vegas, there is no mention of the prisoners. This is how the game communicates to you that the NCR is overstretched, it shows you the real consequences on the people it neglects. don’t even know how to pronounce Caesar) but escaped prisoners from a nearby NCR prison. On the flip side, there’s the starting area, Goodsprings, where the biggest concern isn’t the slavers on the other side of the river (Easy Pete and co. |
